Dr. Kevin Leach is an assistant professor of computer science at Vanderbilt. His research spans computer security and robust autonomous systems. He is particularly interested in the development of systems that provide faithful execution of software even in the presence of stealthy and evasive adversaries and malware. In addition, his lab develops data analysis and augmentation techniques to improve the performance of AI-enabled systems. He teaches undergrad compilers and graduate computer security courses.
Dr. Leach earned the PhD from the University of Virginia in 2016, where he won the Louis T. Rader Outstanding Research Award. He earned the BS in Computer Engineering with Distinction in 2011 from the University of Virginia.
